Switch CloudiKids to the child's position, choose the content in the app and tap "Transfer to device". The blue LEDs light up during the transfer and turn off when it is done.
This is not pairing. CloudiKids must already be paired with the app: How Do I Set Up the App and Pair CloudiKids?
Important: AI-generated content may contain errors or content that may not be appropriate for every child. An adult must review and approve all AI-generated content before transferring it to CloudiKids or otherwise making it available to a child.
Before you start
- Your phone is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Your phone's Bluetooth® is turned on.
- CloudiKids is plugged into a power outlet or fully charged.
- Your phone is close to CloudiKids, the CloudiKids app stays open and your screen stays on. Do not switch to other apps during the transfer.
- Do not use CloudiKids while the transfer is running.
One item
- Turn your CloudiKids on: slide the switch from "OFF" to the position of the profile you want to use (1 or 2).
- In the app, select the profile that you want to add content to. Choose the content you want to transfer from the Stories, Lessons or Music categories.
- Tap "Transfer to device" and follow the on-screen instructions. Your smart device will search for CloudiKids. The blue LEDs will light up. Once the content is transferred to CloudiKids, the blue LEDs will turn off.
A story belongs to the child profile it was created for. To have it on another profile, copy it (see below).
Several items at once
- Turn on your CloudiKids by sliding the power switch from "OFF" to the profile you want to use (1 or 2). In the app, tap the "My CloudiKids" icon to access your CloudiKids content.
- Choose the profile you want to transfer content to. Then select the category where you want to save the content.
- You can manage the content on the selected profile by adding or removing items, then tapping "Sync".
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Once the content is transferred to CloudiKids, the blue LEDs will turn off.
Copy an item to another profile
You can copy a story, a lesson or a music item to another child profile. From the home screen, select a profile and open an item under My Stories, Discover and Answer or My Music. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner, choose Copy to a different profile and confirm the profile you want. It is a copy, not a move: the item stays on the first profile.
While it transfers
The app shows four steps: Processing data on app, Connecting to CloudiKids, Transferring to CloudiKids and Finalizing. Wait until all four are complete. The blue lights come on during the transfer, and turn off when it is done.
