Turn on your CloudiKids, tap "Add your first CloudiKids" in the app and follow the on-screen instructions. The blue LEDs light up while it pairs and turn off when it is done.
You need a parent account in the CloudiKids app first: Create your parent account and a child profile
- Turn on. Slide the bottom switch from "OFF" to position 1 or 2.
- Pair. In the app, tap "Add your first CloudiKids" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Do not exit the CloudiKids app during the loading process. When the LEDs turn off, the device is successfully paired with the app.
After pairing, add a profile for each child: Create your parent account and a child profile
Pairing is not transferring
Pairing connects CloudiKids to the app: you tap "Add your first CloudiKids". Putting a child's profile or stories on the device is a separate step that comes afterwards, with its own steps:

Devices and accounts

Passing CloudiKids on, or buying one second-hand
A CloudiKids is linked to one parent account. Before giving or selling it, the owner removes it from their account: Settings > CloudiKids > the gear icon > Remove from your account, then confirms. If this is not done, the new owner cannot add the CloudiKids to their own account, and the app explains why. If you are giving CloudiKids as a gift, do not connect it to your own account before you give it.
